The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse at Barnton is, after our superb course, the real jewel in the crown of The Royal Burgess Golfing Society.

An outstanding example of ‘Arts and Crafts’ architecture from the late Victorian period, it combines glorious period detail with contemporary comfort. Ours is a building that has stood the test of time and continues to delight and fascinate, especially with our collection of paintings and rare golfing memorabilia and trophies. Our clubhouse facilities are open to all Members, and of course, we warmly welcome guests and visitors.

Our magnificent reception rooms all look onto the golf course; the Dining Room is a particularly elegant space, with floor to ceiling windows, historic pictures and the impressive silver clubs wall case.
