Our growing International Membership is becoming more important culturally to The Royal Burgess Golfing Society.

Interest in joining the oldest golfing society in the world as we approach our 300th birthday is understandable. In 2025 we will be staging the first ever match between Ordinary and International members with a view to it becoming an annual and permanent fixture in the calendar.
However, there is more to this section - our reciprocal arrangements are available to members and planning could form the backbone of your time in Scotland.
The club will be your home from home in the nation's capital. Many of our members play other courses and engagement with fellow Royal Burgess members may lead to unexpected opportunities. Such is the nature of this great game and membership of the society.
